This is not particularly important, but sometimes when you're after some Target Times, it'll be a good idea to avoid them so you don't have to wait before being able to use their special commands again. Although it's usually a good idea to get the power-ups you come across, remember that you can't use the characters' special commands while the power-up is active (it turns off automatically after about 15 seconds). Your characters can get temporary power-ups, and during the course of the story they will also gain some permanent boosts. You can also slow it down by holding LB, though I can't really see any use for this This is very useful when you reach your destination before the natural end of the transformation and you don't want to stay in that unreliable form any longer - You can speed up Lisa's Meditation movement by holding RB. Before being able to aim with Bart's slingshot or Marge's megaphone (by pressing LT) you have to unsheate your weapon first by pressing B once - When sprinting with Homer-Ball's charge attack (Homer Ball is unlocked at the end of the first episode), you can stop your dash at once by turning off the transformation (press RT) - Similarly to this, you can also turn off the Helium Homer transformation (introduced after the sixth episode) by pressing Y before the power for the transformation runs out. The gameplay in this game is very simple, but sometimes the commands can lack accuracy.
